Transforming the means-end chain model of the QFD into interconnected hierarchical network structures for sustainable product design

چکیده
Various extensions of the environmentally-conscious quality function deployment (QFD) were explored to address sustainable product design. To provide a systematic computational platform, integration fuzzy set theory and multiple criteria decision making (MCDM) methods becomes popular approach. However, most applications QFD-MCDM approaches are concentrated on planning phase, which limits overall sustainability considerations in remaining design phases. Thus, this work adopts means-end chain (MEC) model QFD, along with agenda stakeholders. Succinctly, proposed framework transforms MEC into series interconnected hierarchical networks, each network representing phase is translated supermatrix analytic process (ANP). The hierarchy (AHP) decision-making trial evaluation laboratory (DEMATEL) used populate supermatrix. demonstrate its efficacy, an actual case study vegetable cooking oil reported work. findings illustrate capability translating insights This consistency information flow allows stronger associations parameters, ensuring communication across limitations managerial implications also discussed.

deployable scissor type structures are composed of the so-called scissor-like elements (sles), which are connected to each other at an intermediate point through a pivotal connection and allow them to be folded into a compact bundle for storage or transport. several sles are connected to each other in order to form units with regular polygonal plan views. the sides and radii of the polygons are...

A multi objective mixed integer programming model for design of a sustainable meat supply chain network
In the recent decades, rapid population growth has led to the significant increase in food demand. Food supply chain has always been one of the most important and challenging management issues. Product with short age, especially foodstuffs, is the most problematic challenges for supply chain management. These challenges are mainly due to the diversity in the number of these goods, the special n...

This paper presents a multi-objective and multi-service location-allocation model with capacity planning to design a healthcare facilities network through considering a referral system. Therefore, a mixed integer nonlinear programming (MINLP) model containing two objective functions is proposed. The first objective function is relates to minimization of total opening cost, minimization of tota...
